I would like to warmly welcome you all🤗. I’ll start with the definition of health, which is:
“a state of COMPLETE physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being”
This blog will combine all four aspects, guiding you onto a path of rediscovering the connection between the body and the mind.
Bring awareness, so you can make conscious decisions towards a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
“Your diet is not only what you eat. It’s what you watch, what you listen to, what you read, the people you hang around… be mindful of the things you put into your body emotionally, spiritually, and physically”
You probably heard the saying “You are what you eat”?! Well it has an ever deeper meaning… I’ve came across it recently listening to my lecture on the digestive system (where 70% of our immunity is by the way 🤩) ⬇️
You are what you eat!
You are what you digest❗️
You are what you absorb ❗️
You are what you don’t excrete❗️
What this blog is all about…
Physical health- defined as “freedom from a disease or any abnormality. A condition of optimal well-being”. Here I’ll be focusing on nutrition mostly, but also a little on exercise.
Mental health- associated with our minds & emotions- defined as “the ability to respond to varied experiences of life with flexibility”. Here I’ll be focusing on different tools you can use to maintain/improve your mental health like; meditation, mindfulness and positive thinking
Spiritual health-associated with Energy (Spirit) – which is the essence of our existence. We’re energy! Here I’ll be focusing on spirituality, meditation (transcendence), chakras and the purpose in life
Social well-being is simply about the quantity and quality of an individual’s interpersonal ties, and the extent of involvement in the community. Here I just have one thing to say (see at the end of this post👇🏼, as I believe it’s all about the quality), but I’ll also be touching on this dimension of health a little throughout my blog
At the end of the day I’m a woman (I’d describe myself as a girly girl💁🏻♀️), who loves fashion & beauty 💄👄💅🏻👗👠, so I’ll be sharing some beauty tips, of course all based on experimenting on myself and also some research (that I probably didn’t get to try myself yet). Remember that we are all different, and not everything works for everyone, but it’s best to try and see for yourself. Looking pretty equals feeling well, so it plays a huge part on our health & wellness- physical, mental, spiritual and social.

I’ll try my best to publish at least fortnightly, because it takes a lot of time to do research on a certain subject, put it all together, and then present it ✍🏼 in an understandable/easy to read language. Bare in mind I’m blogging on top of college work, being in an active rehabilitation and much more 😅… I’m not complaining here, actually quite the opposite! 😇🙏 #grateful
